Fevre wracks The Western Kingdom. King Fathmu IX, ever hidden—ever safe in his lavish hidey hole—decreed the Fevre be eradicated whatever the human cost. Villages and towns across Wästland—ever the victim of the king's enforcers and taxes—now lie empty and in ruin. People in their hundreds are carted from their homes and cast into the Fevre Pytt, whether they yet live or are long-dead. In spite of this bloody and callous work, the Fevre still passed through the gates of Schleswig.

You wake from horrifying dreams, bodies suffocating you, pinning your limbs. Your head swarms with the Fevre: your stomach knots with hunger: your tongue rasps, a fat dry slug in your mouth. You hear whimpers of pain and suffering all around you, pleading for help or death. The stench. The flies. The touch of clammy flesh.

You have been cast into the Fevre Pytt to die.

Really like the Recollections table, good way to convey details to the players, giving context to the situation they’re in while keeping everything in-character. Nice!
